A BILL to amend and reenact section eight, article ten-l, chapter
eighteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine
hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuation of
the personal assistance services program
.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That section eight, article ten-l, chapter eighteen of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 10L. RON YOST PERSONAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES ACT.
§18-10L-8. Continuation of program.

The personal assistance services program shall continue to
exist, pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of
this code,
until the first day of July, two thousand three six,
pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this
code, unless sooner terminated, continued or reestablished pursuant to the provisions of that article.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the Ron Yost
Personal Assistance Services Program until July 1, 2006, pursuant
to the West Virginia Sunset Law.
